I already have some English, or I need it for work — is VieSpeak challenging enough?

Yes. VieSpeak has conversation scenarios for real-world situations: job interviews, meetings with overseas partners, presentations, email writing, travel, customer service. The AI also scales complexity with your level — the better you are, the more it challenges you with advanced vocabulary and deeper follow-up questions.

Scoring follows the CEFR scale (A1 to C2), so B2 or C1 speakers still have clear room to grow.

Paid plans: Pro 199,000đ/month (15 min/day), Premium 299,000đ/month (30 min/day). Both have an annual option, roughly 36–37% off.

You upgrade inside the app: pick Pro or Premium and pay through the App Store or Google Play. If you have a discount code (from a campaign or a partner), enter it at checkout.

How are "Free Chat" and "Conversation Scenarios" different?

Free Chat — open-ended conversation with no specific goal. Like chatting with an AI friend. The AI remembers you from past sessions and can ask "how was your week?" or pick up an ongoing story. Good when you want to maintain the habit without pressure.

Conversation Scenarios — situation-specific conversations (job interview, booking a flight, meeting with your boss, etc.). Each scenario has 2–5 communication goals that get ticked off in real time as you achieve them. Good when you want structured practice and visible progress.

They complement each other. Many users do both in the same week.

Question 7

What is a Persona? Can I change it?

A Persona is the AI character you talk to — each has its own name, voice, personality, and teaching style. There's a friendly coach-type persona, a casual American English persona, a professional interview-style persona.

You can switch persona anytime in your profile. Important: each persona has its own memory — switching persona is like making a new friend, not the same AI with a different voice. Some users pick one persona and build a long relationship; others use multiple personas for different goals (one for interview practice, one for casual chat).

Are the scores and CEFR level estimates accurate?

Scores and CEFR estimates in VieSpeak are AI estimates, not official certifications. Use them to track your progress over time — compare yourself to last week, last month.

For official level certification, you still need IELTS, TOEIC, or other internationally recognized tests. But if your Fluency score goes from 60 to 75 over a month — that's a real signal you're speaking more fluently.

What does the AI remember about me? Is my voice data safe?

What the AI remembers: facts you share in conversation — name, interests, learning goals, upcoming exams, work, family if you choose to share. The purpose is for the AI to understand you and personalize conversations over time. You can see exactly what the AI remembers in your Profile.

Voice data: recordings are processed to generate feedback and scores, stored securely so you can replay past sessions. We retain only what's necessary for your learning experience, in full accordance with our Privacy Policy.

You can delete your account and all data at any time.

How does VieSpeak help me maintain a daily practice habit?

Speaking practice only works when you're consistent — 15 minutes daily beats 2 hours once a week. VieSpeak has habit-supporting mechanics: Daily goal (set in onboarding), Quota countdown (know exactly how many minutes are left), Quota reset at 00:00 Vietnam time, Streak (consecutive practice days), and Smart reminders — instead of spammy notifications, VieSpeak learns the times you usually practice and reminds you then.

Important: we don't use guilt-trip mechanics like "you lost your streak!". Missing a day doesn't mean you failed — it's just a busy day. Come back tomorrow, continue where you left off.

What equipment do I need to use VieSpeak?

Minimum: an iPhone or Android phone, stable internet (Wi-Fi or 4G/5G — voice needs decent bandwidth), a working microphone (your phone's built-in mic is fine).

Recommended: headphones (better two-way audio quality, especially in noisy places — headphones with a mic are ideal), a quiet space (the AI hears better with less background noise).

VieSpeak is mobile-only right now (iOS and Android), no web or desktop version. A web version may come in the future but isn't a near-term priority — speaking practice feels more natural on a phone (you hold it near your mouth, like a phone call).
